Andreae Exhaust Filters

Andreae exhaust filters use a multi-layer corrugated cardboard and polyester construction that forces exhaust air through a labyrinth of baffles, trapping paint overspray progressively as it moves through each layer. This design achieves near 100% paint arrestance efficiency and holds significantly more overspray before requiring replacement compared to flat pad or bag-style filters — making them the choice for high-volume operations that want maximum capture efficiency and longer intervals between filter changes.

Products in this collection

  • Andreae High Efficiency (HE) Filter — Near 100% overspray capture efficiency with exceptional loading capacity. Available in multiple sizes to fit standard exhaust plenum configurations. The multi-layer construction allows the filter to continue performing efficiently even as it loads, maintaining consistent pressure drop and airflow through the exhaust system.
  • Andreae UCUBE 300 — A cube-format Andreae filter measuring 19.2×19.2×11.7 inches. Designed for exhaust systems that use cube or tower-style filter housings. Each cube holds up to 55 pounds of overspray before replacement is needed. Sold in boxes of four.

Andreae vs conventional exhaust filters

Standard fiberglass pads, polyester pads, and bag filters are effective and economical for most spray booth exhaust applications. Andreae filters are chosen when the application demands the highest available filtration efficiency — such as strict air quality compliance environments, operations using metallic or specialty coatings, or high-production facilities that need to minimize filter change frequency. The tradeoff is higher upfront cost per filter, offset by longer service intervals and superior capture performance.
