Cardboard and Paper Filters

(2 products)
View as

Cardboard and paper exhaust filters use a corrugated or layered cardboard construction to create a baffle-style filtration path that captures paint overspray as exhaust air passes through. Unlike flat fiber media, cardboard baffle filters force air through a series of channels and turns that progressively trap paint particles — achieving high paint arrestance efficiency with a large holding capacity before replacement is needed. They are a practical choice for booths with high spray volumes or operations that want to extend filter change intervals.

Products in this collection

  • Andreae High Efficiency Filter — Multi-layer corrugated paper and polyester construction. Near 100% paint arrestance efficiency with exceptional overspray holding capacity. Available in multiple sizes for standard exhaust plenum configurations.
  • Andreae UCUBE 300 — Cube-format cardboard baffle filter, 19.2×19.2×11.7 inches. Up to 55 lb loading capacity per cube. Designed for exhaust systems that use tower or cube-style filter housings. Sold in boxes of four.

Where cardboard filters are used

Cardboard and paper baffle filters are commonly found in high-production automotive refinishing operations, fleet painting facilities, and industrial coating lines where large volumes of overspray are generated and filter longevity is a priority. They are also specified in applications where strict air quality regulations require documented near-100% paint arrestance efficiency. For lower-volume shops or cost-sensitive operations, fiberglass or polyester pad filters remain the more economical choice.
