Specialty Filters

Specialty filters address specific air quality and contamination control requirements that go beyond standard overspray capture. While fiberglass pads, polyester pads, and bag filters handle the bulk of paint particulate removal in most spray booth exhaust systems, some operations need additional filtration for fine particle capture, VOC control, or odor management. The products in this collection fill those needs.

Products in this collection

• HEPA Filter H13 (24×24×12 inches) — True H13 grade HEPA filtration that captures 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns. Used as a final-stage filter in applications where very fine particle capture is required — including powder coating booths, cleanroom finishing environments, and facilities with strict particulate emission requirements. The 24×24×12 format fits standard commercial exhaust filter housings.
• Charcoal Filter Blanket (48×100×1/2 inches) — Combines physical overspray capture with activated charcoal for concurrent odor and VOC absorption. Used in waterborne paint environments where solvent vapors and paint odors in exhaust air need to be controlled — particularly relevant in facilities with adjacent occupied spaces, indoor air quality requirements, or customer-facing operations where paint odor is a concern. Available in 5-piece boxes.

When to use specialty filtration

Standard exhaust filters are effective at capturing paint particles but do not address gaseous contaminants such as solvent vapors, isocyanates, or VOCs. If your operation involves waterborne coatings with odor concerns, is subject to air quality regulations that go beyond particulate limits, or is located in a setting where exhaust air quality affects people beyond the shop floor, specialty filtration adds the additional capture stage needed to address those concerns.
