The 1550 Siapower 3" sanding disc delivers the highest stock-removal rate in its class for fast, efficient dry sanding. Its performance-enhancing grit mix uses ceramic aluminum oxide (40–220 grit) for aggressive cutting power, transitioning to semi-friable blue-fired and white aluminum oxide at finer grades, with minimal clogging during lacquer sanding (400–600 grit). Built on a durable, sustainable FSC-certified paper backing. Solid 0-hole configuration with a Hook & Loop backing, compatible with standard 3" backing pads.
- 80 Grit — Coarse stock removal — leveling body filler and stripping old coatings.
- 180 Grit — Medium-fine refinement — leveling primer filler and keying surfaces for adhesion.
- 220 Grit — Medium-fine refinement — leveling primer filler and keying surfaces for adhesion.
- 240 Grit — Medium-fine refinement — leveling primer filler and keying surfaces for adhesion.
