The 1550 Siapower 6" sanding disc delivers the highest stock-removal rate in its class for fast, efficient dry sanding. Its performance-enhancing grit mix runs from ceramic aluminum oxide (40–220) for aggressive cutting through to semi-friable blue-fired and white aluminum oxide at the fine grades, with minimal clogging during lacquer sanding (400–600). Built on a sustainable FSC-certified paper backing. 81-Hole dust-extraction configuration with a hook & loop backing, compatible with standard 6" hook & loop backing pads.
- 100 Grit — Coarse ceramic grit for fast stock removal and leveling body filler.
- 120 Grit — Medium grit for feather-edging and smoothing primer surfacers.
- 150 Grit — Medium grit for feather-edging and smoothing primer surfacers.
- 180 Grit — Medium-fine ceramic grit for refining surfaces and keying for adhesion.
- 220 Grit — Medium-fine ceramic grit for refining surfaces and keying for adhesion.
- 240 Grit — Fine blue-fired aluminum oxide for sanding between coats and scuffing clear coats.
