The 1950 Siaspeed 8" sanding disc is the versatile all-rounder for high stock removal, perfect surface quality, and long life. Coarse grits (40–80) feature a sharp ceramic and aluminum oxide blend for fast cutting; medium grits (P100–P400) use blue-fired semi-friable aluminum oxide for longer life and an excellent finish; and an ingenious stearate coating (from P80) resists clogging to maximize disc life. Solid 0-hole configuration with a Hook & Loop backing, compatible with standard 8" backing pads.

• 40 Grit — Extra-coarse for rapid stripping of paint, rust, and heavy body filler.
• 80 Grit — Coarse stock removal — leveling body filler and stripping old coatings.
• 120 Grit — Medium grit for feather-edging, smoothing primer, and removing coarse scratches.
• 180 Grit — Medium-fine refinement — leveling primer filler and keying surfaces for adhesion.
• 280 Grit — Fine sanding between coats and scuffing clear coats for topcoat adhesion.
• 400 Grit — Fine sanding between coats and scuffing clear coats for topcoat adhesion.
